Is the One Piece manga on break this week?
As of April 23, 2024, the One Piece manga is not on break this week. Chapter 1113 will be out in the U.S. on Sunday, April 28.
After the release of chapter 1111, creator Eiichiro Oda announced that he was going on a three-week break.
Oda recently assured fans there’s nothing wrong with his health. Following the passing of Dragon Ball creator, Akira Toriyama, fans had become more concerned with other authors’ health. Oda mentioned his break is related to giving himself time to rest and focus on “self-maintenance.”

Does the One Piece manga release weekly or monthly?
The One Piece manga currently follows a weekly release schedule. This means that a new chapter is available every Sunday (in the U.S.) unless announced otherwise.
Oda usually releases chapters for around three to four weeks in a row before going on a break. Based on this year’s chapter release dates, One Piece chapters are released three times a month, with a break in the middle.
Other manga have bi-weekly (a new chapter every two weeks) or monthly releases.
