Shows Like Invincible: Superhero TV Show Recommendations & What To Watch Next?

Invincible is a popular superhero show in its own right, but fans of the superhero genre are eager to know about similar shows and what to watch next. Here are a few recommendations.

List of shows like Invincible

Here are some shows to check out if you liked Invincible.

Todd McFarlane’s Spawn (1997-99)

Todd McFarlane’s Spawn is a great choice for those who have seen Invincible. Not only does the show have mature themes like the latter, but the comics the show is based on are from the same publisher that created the Invincible comic series, Image Comics.

Spawn revolves around Al Simmons, a highly skilled government assassin, who after being betrayed and killed by his close friend, makes a deal with the devil to become a spawn of hell and roam the earth as a violent vigilante.

Hit-Monkey (2021-present)

Based on the Marvel Comics character Hit-Monkey, this show is another great viewing suggestion for those who loved Invincible. Much like the latter, Hit Monkey also has slick animated action sequences packed with violence.

The story follows the title character, a wronged Japanese macaque. Hit-Monkey, after losing his family to criminals and being trained by the ghost of an American assassin, travels to the Tokyo underworld to exact revenge on the criminals who killed his family.

The Boys Presents: Diabolical (2022)

The show is an animated spin-off of the live-action The Boys series on Amazon Prime Video. This hilarious take on the superhero genre with a series of standalone stories coupled with each episode having its own unique animation style makes it a great watch for Invincible fans.

If you are a fan of The Boys live-action show as well, then this is definitely recommended as it offers even more backstory and depth for characters like Homelander.

Justice League (2001-04) & Justice League Unlimited (2004-06)

Justice League and its sequel series Justice League Unlimited are some of the most iconic superhero cartoons from the 2000s era. Both shows are packed with rich and incredible storytelling that will no doubt interest fans of Invincible and especially fans of the superhero genre.

However, since both shows are primarily geared towards young kids, do not expect any kind of violent and gory scenes which are typically shown in Invincible.
