Fans are wondering if Robert Pattinson‘s Batman is making a cameo in the Penguin spin-off series starring Colin Farrell, who first appeared as the character in 2022’s The Batman. Here is all you need to know.
Will Robert Pattinson’s Batman cameo in The Penguin?
Robert Pattinson’s Batman has not been confirmed to make a cameo in The Penguin.
However, as per a new report from ComicBookMovie, Pattinson was reportedly spotted on the set of The Penguin via a set photo (pictured below), thus hinting that he could appear in the spin-off series. However, he was not shown in his Batman costume but in normal civilian clothing.
This happened right around the time Carmen Ejogo, one of the actors in The Penguin series shared a photo confirming the wrap of the series’ production via Instagram.
Robert Pattinson’s reprisal of Batman in The Penguin series was previously reported on last year in February 2023, when industry insider Jeff Sneider reported via his Hot Mic podcast with John Rocha that Pattinson would appear in the series and it would reunite the former and Colin Farrell, who plays Penguin.
While Robert Pattinson’s Batman’s appearance has not been officially confirmed. It makes sense that he would at the least cameo, given that The Penguin takes place after the first film and shows Oswald Cobblepot’s rise as a crime lord. As such, Batman would no doubt be keeping an eye on him.
The Penguin stars Colin Farrell in the title role alongside a supporting cast that includes Cristin Milioti, Clancy Brown, Michael Zegen, Michael Kelly, and Carmen Ejogo. The series is created by Lauren LeFranc, known for her work on the sci-fi drama series Impulse. Matt Reeves, the director of The Batman films serves as an executive producer on the project.
