The TikTok “Taylor Swift Hater” trend is a new trend on TikTok that sees users express their hate for Taylor Swift.

The “Taylor Swift Hater” trend on TikTok sees users, primarily those who have verified check marks, put up a series of photos with the following captions as the original song “patrick bateman” plays in the background, the first two captions being a part of the original song:

  • Photo 1 – I Accept Who I Am
  • Photo 2 – Who Are You?
  • Photo 3 – A Taylor Swift Hater (a stand-in for the lyric I Am The Bad Guy)

As of writing, only five verified users have done the trend on TikTok. Fans even believed celebrities hopped on the trend when they saw whom they believed to be Drake do the challenge.

However, according to one TikTok user @brandonspam, the account which fans believed to be Drake’s was fake. The users partaking in the challenge bought verification and either pretended to be celebrities while doing the challenge or were posting as themselves after verifying their accounts.
