Is the Jurassic World: Extinction trailer real or fake?
The “Jurassic World: Extinction” title and trailer running around the internet are fan-made and fake.
KH Studio recently released the above trailer for Jurassic World 4 titled “Extinction”. It features Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, and Sam Neill’s familiar franchise characters and uses footage from multiple dinosaur movies including 65, Jurassic World, and Jurassic Park. It even uses a shot from Chris Pratt’s The Tomorrow War and Game of Thrones. So, it is a fan-made “concept trailer” and not official.
A new installment has only been announced and its title or trailer does not currently exist. The movie hasn’t even begun filming at the moment of writing.
Everything we know about Jurassic World 4 so far
Universal’s next Jurassic World outing is scheduled to arrive on July 2, 2025. But the director and cast are yet to be finalized.
The movie reportedly has a strong story and David Koepp has been hired to write the script. The studio is currently looking to sign up the cast and its director. Deadpool 2’s David Leitch was the frontrunner to deliver the movie on its July 2025 release date. But the deal didn’t go through as Universal and Leitch parted ways due to creative differences. So, the search for a director continues.
While the movie finds its cast, it’s known that none of the old cast members including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Sam Neill are expected to return in this installment. Chris Pratt is currently involved with his upcoming projects, including The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.
So, Jurassic World 4 will see an entirely new cast with a new lead. But the franchise will be set in the same world as the previous six movies and will take the Dino legacy forward.
