Now the latest rumors seem to suggest that Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin will appear in Tom Holland’s fourth solo Spider-Man movie. So many fans are eager to know the truth. Will Kingpin appear in Spider-Man 4?
Kingpin has not been officially confirmed to appear in Spider-Man 4, at the time of publishing.
However, according to semi-reliable but reputed industry insider Daniel RPK (Daniel Richtman), Kingpin is reportedly in the script for Spider-Man 4 but official talks for Vincent D’Onofrio to appear in the film are yet to take place. As exciting as this sounds, fans must take this report with a huge grain of salt and wait for official confirmation from Marvel Studios on the matter.
Even though Kingpin’s appearance in Spider-Man 4 has not been officially confirmed, it would make sense as Kingpin is being built up as the main antagonist of the street-level storylines in the MCU, established by Hawkeye and Echo and expected to continue in Daredevil: Born Again. With Spider-Man 4 teased as a grounded street-level story and also rumored to be tied to the events of Daredevil: Born Again, Kingpin’s appearance as the main villain would fit in with that plan.
Even Vincent D’Onofrio has said that Kingpin appearing in Spider-Man 4 would make a lot of sense.
