Studio Shirogumi developed the anime under the official title The iDOLM@STER Million Live! (stylized as THE iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE!). It follows Mirai Kasuga, Shizuka Mogami, and Tsubasa Ibuki, aspiring idols seeking stardom. Mirai and Shizuka meet at a 765 Pro concert and quickly bond over their shared love for the idols. Meanwhile, Tsubasa meets one of the 765 Pro producers. Toward the end of episode 1, all three girls decide to audition for 765 Pro.
