A flashback shows Kuma noticing Dragon knowing a lot about Goa Kingdom, even going to a village to observe a young boy (Luffy). The scene switches to where the previous chapter ended with Kuma entering Foosha Village. Kuma was watching Luffy practicing his attacks.
The chapter narrates Kuma’s letters to Bonney. However, Alpha intercepted these letters and destroyed them. Meanwhile, Conney told Bonney not to show her Devil Fruit powers to Alpha and her team. Kuma then visited Vegapunk’s lab and there’s a year left until the modifications are complete.
Bonney celebrated her 9th birthday, but there’s no word from Kuma. Since a year has passed since her surgery, Bonney is fully healed. However, Alpha is still not letting her out. Conney learned that Alpha and the medical team are working for the World Government so she planned Bonney’s escape.
The strongest fishermen of Sorbet Kingdom will help take Bonney out to sea to help her find Kuma. Conney and Bonney switched outfits and Bonney went outside. However, Alpha went after her. Bonney uses her Distorted Future technique by thinking that she’s Nika in order to defeat Alpha.
The information reveals that One Piece will be on break next week.
One Piece Chapter 1101 will be available in the United States on Sunday, December 10, at 10:00 AM ET / 9:00 AM CT / 7:00 AM PT.
Dragon remains one of the very mysterious characters in the One Piece universe. Even though it’s just a small detail from the spoilers, it’s possible that Dragon isn’t as bad of a father figure as fans thought he would be. Hopefully, One Piece Chapter 1101 will reveal a bit more about Dragon as a father and if he’s been truly keeping an eye on Luffy all this time.
Meanwhile, we continue to learn more about Bonney. Her Devil Fruit is proving to be powerful seeing as she defeated a CP8 agent.
