After reports of the MCU Young Avengers cast hit the internet, fans want to know which young heroes will be part of the team. Here is all you need to know.
Which heroes will make up the MCU’s Young Avengers cast?
As of this writing, only three heroes have been confirmed to be part of the MCU’s Young Avengers lineup: Kamala Khan’s Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, and Cassie Lang.
However, Twitter scooper Alex from CC has shared his opinion on who else will be part of the MCU’s Young Avengers team apart from Khan, Bishop, and Lang. They are:
- Billy Maximoff/Wiccan
- Tommy Maximoff/Speed
- Hulkling
- Ironheart
- Harley Keener
Bishop’s involvement in the Young Avengers was confirmed via the ending scene of The Marvels, which saw her meeting Kamala Khan in the former’s apartment and hearing Kamala say that she is putting together a team of young heroes and asks Kate to join her.
Although Cassie Lang did not show up in The Marvels, Kamala did confirm in the film that she was aware of Lang thanks to S.A.B.R.E’s intelligence, which had information on her, suggesting that she would be heading to San Francisco to recruit her.
As for the aforementioned unconfirmed members, there seem to be two glaring omissions in the roster, that being Eli Bradley/Patriot and Xochitl Gomez’s America Chavez. Both of them are part of the Young Avengers in the comics and were also recently introduced in the MCU.
Moreover, a surprising inclusion in the roster is Harley Keener, who was actually introduced in the MCU in Iron Man 3 and later made a fleeting cameo in Avengers: Endgame, attending Tony Stark’s funeral. This is because the character was not utilized much in the MCU as he did not make further appearances aside from these projects. However, the ending for Iron Man 3 did subtly hint at future heroics for Harley when Iron Man gifted him a new tech workspace at his garage.
Ultimately, fans should wait for further official confirmation from Marvel Studios regarding the Young Avengers.
