The anime TV show, the full title of which is I’m Giving the Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued a Crash Course in Naughtiness, is based on the namesake light novel series written by Sametarō Fukada and illustrated by Sakura Miwabe. It tells the story of Charlotte Evans, a young noblewoman who has been recently betrayed by her betrothed. She runs away from home after her family mistreats her and ends up in the company of Allen Crawford, a reclusive wizard. After hearing Charlotte’s tragic story, Allen decides to teach her about various facets of life’s pleasure.
