Schmigadoon! Season 3 has not yet been officially confirmed by Apple TV Plus. However, a third season will most likely happen. In an interview with TV Line, series creator Cinco Paul and stars Keegan-Michael Key and Cecily Strong expressed their hopes of coming back for a third season.
Moreover, Paul also hinted in the interview that the closing song of the second season teased the third season. He was probably referring to how Josh and Melissa say in the final episode that “every new day can serve as a happy beginning”, hinting that they and the people of the magical musical theatre intend to explore these new happy beginnings.
