Upload is a science-fiction comedy series that revolves around Nathan Brown, a 27-year-old coder and party boy based in Los Angeles, whose consciousness is uploaded into a virtual afterlife called Lakeview after he dies prematurely. In the afterlife, Nathan meets a digital version of a woman called Nora, a cash-strapped Brooklyn resident who is working in the customer service department for a company that supervises Lakeview.
