The Mandalorian Season 4 could arrive sometime in 2025.
The production on Season 4 hasn’t yet begun after Season 3 ended on April 19, 2023. But Rick Famuyiwa, who directed 3 episodes in Season 3 and a few before that, told Deadline that Jon Favreau has already written the scripts for Season 4.
It’s worth noting that a lot of fans weren’t on board with multiple filler episodes and side quests in Season 3, and the scripts for Season 4 might need a few rewrites. So, once the writers’ and actors’ strikes get lifted, we could expect Season 4 to begin its pre-production prep and move into the production stage. However, the way things are shaping at the moment of writing, it doesn’t seem that production on Season 4 will begin until late 2023 or until 2024.
Hence, The Mandalorian Season 4 might be pushed to arrive sometime in early 2025 and might be launched before the potential Ahsoka Season 2. After all, Lucasfilm is already planning to launch Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, Andor Season 2, and The Acolyte in 2024. So, there’s no room left for The Mandalorian Season 4 in 2024 either.

It will be interesting to see what’s next for Din Djarin and Grogu in season 4. It will star Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin/Mando, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, and Emily Swallow as The Armorer, among others.
