Physical is set in the 1980s and centers on a troubled housewife named Sheila, who finds her path to success and empowerment through Aerobics. After triumphing in the first two seasons, the latest season 3 puts her up against the celebrity exercise goddess Kelly Kilmartin. It will be interesting to see how the contest between these two ends in this final season.
Physical stars Rose Byrne as Sheila in the lead. Kelly Kilmartin is played by Zooey Deschanel, and other supporting characters in the series include Paul Sparks as John Breem (a mall owner). Dierdre Friel as Greta Hauser (Ernie’s wife), and Rory Scovel as Danny Rubin (Sheila’s husband).
