With star-studded action movies continuing their popularity, the Red One release date is also highly anticipated by the fans. It is a holiday-themed buddy action comedy featuring a real-life Santa Claus, a potential superhuman character, and a grounded yet charismatic persona. The exact plot of the film is kept under wraps. But when will it arrive?

Is there a Red One release date?
Red One’s release date could arrive in late November or December 2023.
When Dwayne Johnson announced Red One, he revealed it to be a Holiday movie in 2023. 2022’s Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special arrived on November 25, 2022, playing across the entire Holiday period. So, considering Red One’s theme, it could do something similar and arrive in late November. But, it’s also possible for the movie to get an early-mid December.
Amazon might even give it a limited theatrical release as it does with some of its movies quite often. The aforementioned date is an estimation based on the information we have so far. ComingSoon will provide an update to this story once we receive official details. Keep in mind that if the SAG-AFTRA strike continues until the end of the year, then Red One could get pushed to 2024.
Producer Hiram Garcia described the film as:
“An epic, edge-of-your-seat, action-adventure that takes beloved holiday mythology and turns it on its head.”
While Dwayne Johnson didn’t reveal any plot details, here’s what he said about the film:
“Think Jumanji meets Miracle on 34th Street meets Hobbs & Shaw with a dash of Harry Potter and sprinkled on top with my all-time favorite Christmas movie, It’s A Wonderful Life… let all that sink in.”
The Holiday-based film stars Dwayne Johnson in the role of Callum Drift, who might turn out to be a superhuman in the film. He’ll be joined by former Captain America, Chris Evans, who plays Jack O’Malley, and a very buffed-up Santa Claus, played by Spider-Man’s J.K. Simmons.
Where is Red One coming out?
Red One will come out on Amazon Prime Video in 2023.
