Amazon Prime Video‘s new TV and movie release schedule for September 4-10 includes Tyler Perry’s 2014 comedy-drama film The Single Moms Club and the high-stakes sports documentary One Shot: Overtime Elite.
Starting on September 5, viewers can start streaming One Shot: Overtime Elite, which will be a six-episode documentary series that will be a character-driven story that uncovers the devotion and resilience of players and coaches that belong to the Overtime Elite team. The documentary series will also depict the challenges faced by the players in pursuit of a full-time professional basketball career.
Then on September 7, viewers can catch Tyler Perry‘s The Single Moms Club, which will revolve around five single mothers, who organize an upcoming dance and fundraiser for the school of their children after the children face the prospect of expulsion after they end up breaking school rules. Nia Long, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Cocoa Brown, Zulay Henao, and Amy Smart play the five single mothers in the film.
Finally, on September 8, viewers can catch Trish Sie and Yara Shahidi‘s Sitting in Bars With Cake, which is a heartwarming story about friendship and bonds shown through the lens of Jane, a shy and talented baker, and Corinne, her extroverted best friend who convinces her to commit to a year-long challenge of bringing cakes to bars in order for Jane to meet and befriend new people and build confidence until Corinne receives a life-altering diagnosis which complicates things for the friends. Aside from Shahidi, this film will star Odessa A’zion, Bette Midler, Ron Livingston, Maia Mitchell, Aaron Dominguez, Rish Shah, Martha Kelly, and Adina Porter, among other cast members.
