The second season of the pro-wrestling series aired its first episode on July 28 and will end with its 8th episode on September 15, 2023. This series is focused on Professional Wrestling, as within the ring, a “face” is the protagonist, and a “heel” is the antagonist. Two brothers, Jack and Ace Spade are the central figures who fight scripted Wrestling matches to get the nation’s attention.
But things have been tough between the two in the second season, which brings back Stephen Amell as the older brother, Jack, and Alexander Ludwig as Ace. Meanwhile, we also see Mary McCormack as Willie Day, Alison Luff as Staci Spade, Allen Maldonado as Rooster Robbins, Kelli Berglund as Crystal Tyler, James Harrison as Apocalypse, and Chris Bauer as Wild Bill Hancock starring in the series.
The official synopsis of Heels Season 2 reads:
“After a spectacular showing at the South Georgia State Fair, the Duffy Wrestling League’s popularity is suddenly on the upswing. Hoping to seize the opportunity, Jack and his cohorts prepare for a possible business deal with a new streaming service that may propel them onto a national stage. But the past and its tragedies threaten to upset everything when Ace leaves Duffy and the Dome in his rearview, and rival promotion Florida Wrestling Dystopia’s vengeful frontman Gully comes calling.”
