The film hits theatres on March 8, 2024. Since it is distributed by Universal Pictures, predicting its streaming release date is slightly tricky. For most of 2023, Universal movies have had different “theatres to streaming” windows. Most lower-budget films had a 17-day exclusive theatrical window followed by a Peacock release after 45-60 days.
Meanwhile, the money-making high-budgeted movies, including The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Fast X, took 4 months for their streaming releases. So, Kung Fu Panda 4’s streaming release will partially depend upon how much money it makes at the box office. The film could get a Peacock release in mid-May or June 2024. But the date could also get pushed to July if it becomes a billion-dollar success like Super Mario Bros.
