Viewers are interested to see Lanier as the upcoming thriller horror film will be based on the real-life horrors that took place at the bottom of Lake Lanier. Here’s when Lanier could be coming out on streaming.

When is the predicted Lanier streaming release date?

The Lanier premiere is on September 9th and 10th, the Video on Demand release date is September 16th and the digital release date is set for October 2023. However, the makers of Lanier have not yet confirmed the streaming release date. However, fans can expect Lanier to drop on streaming sometime by November or December 2023.

The November and December speculated streaming release dates are because of the pattern of movies having their streaming releases roughly two to three months following their premiere in theaters.

Lanier is a thriller film that will focus on the dark truths hiding at the bottom of Lake Lanier in Oscarville, Georgia. A detective, Jeff Stevenson, is tasked to solve the mystery of a drowning case at Lake Lanier with the help of fellow detective Daniel Wilson, while he is on a vacation near the area with his wife and daughter.

Lanier’s cast includes Angel McCoughtry, Shekeeb Sikander, Riley Madison Fuller, Jarrett Michael Collins, Ava Metallo, Jamie Lee, Chris Johnson, Patrick Lemon, Michael Schill, Shan Moreno, Ali Ashtago, Mara Flanagan, and John M. Johnson.

Is Lanier coming out on Amazon Prime Video?

Lanier will be available to watch via streaming not only on Amazon Prime Video but also on Apple TV+, Tubi, and Hulu.

Lanier is expected to come out on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Tubi, and Hulu, as the director of the film, William Bush-Anderson, announced that it would be the case.

Current Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Tubi, and Hulu subscribers will be able to watch Lanier when it drops on streaming. An Amazon Prime Video subscription costs $8.99 a month or $139 a year for regular users while students can get a special discount of $7.49 a month or $69 a year. An Apple TV+ subscription costs $6.99 a month following a 7-day free trial period. A Tubi subscription is free but includes ads while a Hulu subscription comes at $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year.

Lanier’s official synopsis reads:

“Lanier is inspired by the true events of Oscarville, Georgia, and the story of a detective who’s forced to come to a realization of the dark truths hidden at the bottom of Lake Lanier.”
