In the third episode, titled “Like It’s on Fire,” we see Shiela’s new romance help her find her spiritual self. Meanwhile, Breem eagerly tries to impress the committee, and Greta pursues a potentially money-making deal.
Physical Season 3 began with a double premiere on August 1, 2023. It is the series’ final season and will end with its 10th episode on September 26, 2023. It stars Rose Byrne as Sheila Rubin in the lead, and in season 3, she’ll come across a new adversary named Kelly Kilmartin, played by Zooey Deschanel. Others in the cast include Rory Scovel as Sheila’s husband, Danny Rubin, Paul Sparks as a mall owner, John Breem, and Dierdre Friel as Ernie’s wife, Greta Hauser.
The official synopsis of Physical Season 3 reads:
“Sheila finds her status challenged by rising celebrity exercise goddess Kelly Kilmartin, who becomes not only a professional threat but manages to get in her head. Will Sheila prevail, or will Kelly’s presence in her life undermine the hard-earned healing and stability that Sheila has worked so hard for?”
