Which Avengers had their DNA harvested in Secret Invasion?
Carol Danvers is confirmed to have had her DNA harvested, meaning the Super Skrulls could wield the powers of Captain Marvel.
It’s likely that The Harvest also contains the powers of:
- Captain America
- Thor
- Hawkeye
- The Hulk
- Spider-Man
- Doctor Strange
- Black Panther
Though Scarlet Witch hasn’t been included in the list above, her DNA was potentially also harvested, which could lead to an extremely powerful set of Super Skrulls!
Carole Danvers’ DNA is the biggest issue, however, as that could see the Skrulls transform themselves to have the same abilities as Captain Marvel. As we saw in Avengers: Endgame and her own movie, Captain Marvel’s abilities are on an extremely high level, one that only a few superheroes can hope to match.
It’s also clear that DNA was collected from Groot and Cull Obsidian, meaning it wasn’t just the blood of the Avengers that was harvested by Gravik under orders from Nick Fury.
Will Nick Fury give Gravik the Avengers’ DNA?
Nick Fury intends to give Gravik the Avengers’ DNA in Secret Invasion episode 6.
While Fury does seem intent on giving Gravik the DNA samples, it’s highly unlikely that there isn’t an underlying plan, one to finally defeat Gravik.
While it’s not yet clear how Fury will be able to turn the tide against a desperate Gravik, there’s potential for the enemy’s plan to backfire. Perhaps there’s a DNA sample that isn’t compatible with Skrulls that Fury is counting on?
