As the series follows different timelines, episode 7 will begin in the winter of 1999 when tensions are high because of Y2K. The lives of the main trio will change after a “not-so-secret” conversation at the New Year’s Eve party. Then in the summer of 2000, Ned becomes a suspect after some new pieces of evidence from the previous summer are brought to light.
