Best Fubo TV Series & Shows to Watch Now (April 2024)

Figuring out the best Fubo TV series and shows in April 2024 can be difficult since there’s so much to choose from. But many popular and critically-acclaimed shows like Fargo, Shogun, and From have recently finished their seasons, while other series like Elsbeth are hoping to mix things up with its debut. Spring is the right time for new content to watch, so here are our picks for what Fubo TV shows to binge this month.

What are the best Fubo TV shows to watch in April 2024?

Fortunately, there are many choices for the best Fubo TV shows to watch in April 2024. Some seasons have already completed so you can watch every episode without having to wait, while other shows are still airing in April. The eight shows below represent a lot of genres from comedies and dramas, to supernatural horror and historical fiction, so you’ll likely find something here to sink your teeth into.

A Gentleman in Moscow

Sometimes you’re in the right place at the wrong time. A Gentleman in Moscow is about a Russian aristocrat named Count Alexander Rostov (Ewan McGregor), a self-described gentleman with no occupations, who is placed on house arrest for life during the Bolshevik Revolution. Showrunner and executive producer Ben Vanstone adapted the series from the bestselling novel of the same name by Amor Towles into eight one-hour episodes that will air on a weekly basis. Over his sentence, Rostov is trapped within the confines of the Metropol hotel and saddened by his loss of status and wealth, but he eventually forms friendships and romances that are richer than any mere coin can provide.

Elsbeth

Elsbeth is a police procedural with a twist. It stars Carrie Preston in the titular role of Elsbeth Tascioni, an offbeat lawyer whose ability to make unusual observations effectively turns her into a detective alongside the NYPD. Viewers may recognize this hero from The Good Wife and The Good Fight, as Elsbeth is an offshoot from both those shows as the third series in the Kings Cinematic Universe. While the crimes are serious, Elsbeth brings a quirky, light personality to the proceedings with her pastel outfits, innumerable bags, and unexpected deductions. That said, Police Captain C.W. Wagner (Wendell Pierce) views her as a meddling observer and doesn’t want her around. But maybe Elsbeth’s skill and effervescent spirit will change his tune.

Fargo

The fifth season of the crime drama TV series Fargo is the first one that won’t have any direct connection to the film or the prior seasons, though fans of the franchise will still catch many references peppered about. This time around, a Minnesota housewife named Dorothy “Dot” Lyon (Juno Temple) gets herself tangled with the authorities at the same time Sheriff Roy Tillman (Jon Hamm) has been looking for her for the last ten years. It seems like there’s much more than meets the eye when it comes to Dot. Critics have praised this latest season of the show, which has been nominated for three Golden Globe Awards. All ten episodes are available to watch, so this is a great time to binge the entire season.

From

If you enjoy science-fiction horror like The Mist by Stephen King and the Silent Hill video game series, then the show From may be right in your wheelhouse. The series begins when the Matthews family is forced to make a detour during a cross-country trip, but they soon discover that no matter where they drive, they can’t seem to escape the Township. In a harrowing series of events, they learn that they have been trapped by a supernatural force and that shape-shifting creatures lurk in the woods, waiting to kill every human caught in the web. The second season of the show has already been completed, but a third season is scheduled to premiere in 2024, so this is a good opportunity to catch up.

Ghosts

On a lighter note, the CBS Original Ghosts is a sitcom where a married couple needs to help spirits in their house so that they can pass into the afterlife. While freelance journalist Samantha Arondekar (Rose Mciver) is able to interact with the ghosts due to a near-death experience, her nerdy chef husband (Utkarsh Ambudkar) can’t, despite his many humorous attempts to reach out to them. The show is currently in its third season and has already been renewed for a fourth season. If you enjoy Ghosts, we suggest checking out the original British show of the same name that this is based on too.

Resident Alien

Alan Tudyk can pretty much do anything at this point and we’ll like it, but his role as the alien Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle in the science-fiction dramedy Resident Alien is fantastic. After crash-landing in the middle of a Colorado town, the extraterrestial kills the real doctor and steals his identity. Though he has been sent to Earth to destroy the human race, he eventually learns about human emotions and meets the young Max Hawthorne who can see through the alien’s disguise. In time, against his better judgment (or perhaps with his better judgment), he chooses to defend humanity from his own kind as well as other threats from outer space. The third season, which lasts for eight episodes, completed recently so you can watch all of it in one go.

Shogun

Shogun is one of the most popular shows this year with its intense plot, historical storytelling, and beautiful Japanese backdrops. It may only be a mini-series with eight episodes, but it has a lot of power behind its swing. While some viewers may remember Shogun from its 1980 adaptation, this version of the show stars Cosmo Jarvis as Pilot-Major John Blackthorne and Hiroyuki Sanada as Lord Yoshii Toranaga (otherwise known as the great Tokugawa Ieyasu). Blackthorne finds himself captured by Toranaga’s forces during a tumultuous time when the death of the current Japanese leader Taiko splits power among the five regents. But his ship Erasmus may be what Toranaga to turn the tide in the oncoming war.

Young Sheldon

At this point, you either like Young Sheldon or you don’t. This sitcom takes a look at the younger years of Sheldon Cooper from the popular hit show The Big Bang Theory. That said, Young Sheldon is in its seventh season and it will be coming to a close soon, at which point the newly announced spin-off that features Sheldon’s older brother Georgie and Mandy is set to begin. The season finale is set for May 16, so there are still a handful of episodes left before we reach the conclusion.
