Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that beginning in late September 2016, LEGO Dimensions Starter Packs for PlayStation 4 will include an exclusive, bonus DC Comics Supergirl LEGO minifigure for a limited time.
The new minifigure is capable of super strength, flying, X-ray vision and beam attacks in-game and she’s also able to transform into her Red Lantern costume with additional abilities such as firing powerful Red Lantern energy bolts and energy beams from the Red Lantern Ring and forming Red Lantern Energy Constructs.
In the future, Supergirl will be available as a “Hire-a-Hero,” a feature in LEGO Dimensions that allows players to sample characters using studs collected in the game. Players can select the hologram minifigure near certain hint stones to unlock characters for a limited time to try out their special abilities to solve problems and complete puzzles.
The rest of the year 2 content for LEGO Dimensions will include Adventure Time, Harry Potter, Ghostbusters, The Goonies, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Gremlins, The A-Team, Sonic the Hedgehog, and much, much more.
Developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, LEGO Dimensions is now available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, and the Wii U system.
