Sony and Microsoft have both announced the slate of May 2017 free games that will be available to subscribing PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members.
PlayStation Plus members are getting Telltale Games’ episodic point-and-click adventure Tales from the Borderlands and the adventure exporiation game Abzu for PlayStation 4, the hack-and-slash RPG Blood Knights and the pirate simulator Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants for PlayStation 3, and the shooter Laser Disco Defenders and the indie platformer Type:Rider for PS Vita and PlayStation 4. Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 – as part of the Games with Gold program. You can play both Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One with Backward Compatibility. On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download the platformer Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Director’s Cut for free during the month of May and the co-operative Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris from May 16th to June 15th. On Xbox 360, starting Monday, May 1st, Star Wars: The Force Unleased II will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through May 15th. Then on May 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga for free through May 31st. You can subscribe to Xbox Live Gold via this link.
