Following word that Hideo Kojima’s contract with Konami had officially expired on Tuesday, December 15, Sony PlayStation has announced a new partnership with the video game creator for a new exclusive PlayStation game. PlayStation will be working with Kojima’s new independent company, Kojima Productions.
Kojima earlier had posted the following on Twitter: “My employment contract with Konami has been terminated as of Dec 15th, so today marks a new start for me. I’m committed to be involved in creative activities for as long as I live. Look forward to what’s coming.”
