Microsoft has confirmed the list of new wave 2 games coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate throughout the final weeks of October 2023. The highlight of the list is Cities: Skylines 2 on PC, although there’s also the addition of Dead Space Remake on EA Play.
Here are the Xbox Game Pass October 2023 games
The first wave of Xbox Game Pass games for this month begins today, October 17, with the addition of the previously announced Like a Dragon Ishin! The highlights of the period don’t appear until later on as Dead Space Remake is added to EA Play and Cities: Skylines 2 becomes a day-one release on PC. Unfortunately, the Xbox Series X|S version of the latter won’t be released until Spring 2024.
The remaining five games will arrive on different platforms throughout the final two weeks of the month. The full list includes:
- F1 Manager 2023 (Console, PC, and Cloud) – October 19
- Cities: Skylines 2 (PC) – October 24
- Dead Space (Xbox Series X|S and Cloud) – October 26
- Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery (Console and Cloud) – October 26
- Mineko’s Night Market (Console, PC, and Cloud) – October 26
- Headbangers: Rhythm Royale (Console, PC, and Cloud) – October 31
- Jusant (Console, PC, and Cloud) – October 31
As well as the new games, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to try out the EA Sports UFC 5: EA Play Early Access Trial, which will be available from October 24. Those who feel like purchasing the game after the trial can make use of the 10% discount for EA Play members.
Another Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perk will be leaving the pool soon. The Crunchyroll Mega Fan 75-days free perk will be removed on October 20, so make sure to activate it within the next three days if you haven’t already. The good news is that there’s a new perk in the form of the Smite – Season of Celebration Pack.
Finally, along with the good news comes the bad in the form of a list of five games that will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 31. The games that are shortly leaving the service are:
- Gunfire Reborn (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Kill It With Fire (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Persona 5 Royal (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Signalis (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Solasta Crown of the Magister (Cloud, Console, and PC)
