To celebrate the release of the DC Studios movie Blue Beetle, the titular superhero has joined the Massively Multiplayer Online game DC Universe Online.
What does Blue Beetle do in DC Universe Online?
As of today, Blue Beetle will be available as a character in the game, which is available for free on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Once summoned, Blue Beetle can use energy beams to cut down foes, mark targets with the Aggression Motivator and provide buffs when the target is attacked, and use Infiltrator Mode to increase Critical Weapon Chance when using a Weapon Buff ability.

DC Universe first released on January 11, 2011 on the PlayStation 3 and PC. It also launched alongside the PS4 in 2013 before coming to Xbox One in 2016 and the Switch in 2019.
Developed by Daybreak Game Company and Dimensional Ink Games, the game’s decade-plus lifespan has featured plenty of content from across the DC universe, introducing characters of all types, from the Teen Titans to John Constantine. The upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version of the game was recently detailed by the development team.
