Star Wars, Dark Pictures, & More Officially Join PS VR2 Launch Lineup

Sony revealed a host of PlayStation VR2 games, but was cagey on what ones would actually be coming out alongside the headset on February 22, 2023. PS VR2’s launch lineup has solidified just a bit, as more games have been confirmed to release with the new hardware.

Of the PS VR2 games that have been revealed, the following, as confirmed by PlayStation Store listings, are coming out on February 22:

  • Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition ($49.99)
  • Horizon Call of the Mountain ($59.99)
  • Zenith: The Last City ($29.99)
  • Cities: VR – Enhanced Edition ($29.99 and $26.99 for PlayStation Plus subscribers)
  • Tentacular ($24.99 and $22.49 for PlayStation Plus subscribers)
  • Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue ($29.99 and $26.99 for PlayStation Plus subscribers)
  • Demeo ($39.99 and $31.99 for PlayStation Plus subscribers)
  • The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR (no price listed)
  • The Light Brigade ($24.99 and $21.24 for PlayStation Plus subscribers)
  • Cosmonious High ($29.99 and $23.99 for PlayStation plus subscribers)

Jurassic World Aftermath Collection and Crossfire: Sierra Squad don’t have dates or prices yet. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution, on the other hand, is $39.99 and is coming to PS VR2 on March 21, 2023, a month after the headset comes out and over three months after its Meta Quest 2 release date.

After the Fall and Pistol Whip VR don’t have release dates either, but both are just going to be full PlayStation 5 upgrades of existing PS VR titles and will be free for existing owners. No Man’s Sky‘s VR mode will also be out on launch, but will be enabled through a free patch. Resident Evil Village‘s story campaign is going to be playable in VR and the Resident Evil 4 remake will have some VR content, but Capcom has been light on the details.

These prices and dates come alongside pre-orders for the headset itself. They’re only currently available directly through Sony and it’s unclear when users can pre-order through other retailers.
