Stranger Things VR Trailer Puts You in Control of Vecna

Netflix announced a new Stranger Things game today for virtual reality and released the first Stranger Things VR trailer for the aptly named game. It is coming to “major VR platforms” in winter 2023 and is developed by Tender Claws. is a psychological horror/action game developed by Tender Claws, who previously made Virtual Virtual Reality 2, Tempest, The Under Presents, and Tendar. It is coming to major VR platforms in Winter 2023.

“Play as Vecna in this new Stranger Things adventure in VR,” says the description. “Become an explorer of unknown realities as you form the hive mind and tame the void. Invade minds and conjure nightmares in your quest to enact revenge on Eleven and Hawkins.”

Stranger Things is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. When a young boy vanishes, a small town uncovers a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces, and one strange little girl.

The series currently stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, and Brett Gelman.

Season 4 also introduced a number of new actors including Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Quinn,  Eduardo Franco, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Nikola Djuricko, Tom Wlaschiha, Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen, Grace Van Dien, Robert Englund, and Amybeth McNulty.

Stranger Things is created and executive produced by Matt and Ross Duffer, who also serve as showrunners. Executive producers are Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Iain Patterson.

All episodes of Season 4 are now available for streaming exclusively on Netflix.
