Activision is holding its Call of Duty Next event on September 15 which will have plenty of information about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II‘s multiplayer, something a select few users can test out the following day in its previously announced beta. However, it’s possible to get into the beta without pre-ordering and, luckily, ComingSoon is giving away around 15 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta codes for those who don’t want to plunk down the cash early for the game.

To enter this Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta code giveaway, you can either retweet the above tweet or comment on our corresponding Facebook post. The giveaway will last until 5 p.m. PT on September 15. The winners will be contacted that evening, just in time for the beta’s start on September 16 (at least on PlayStation, more on that below).

The code must be redeemed on the official site first. Once logged in, the page will confirm that the player is registered for the beta. A platform-specific beta code will be emailed to the user later down the line.
Platforms play a big role in this beta since that will dictate who gets to play and when. The beta will be on PlayStation first on September 16, meaning those who want to jump in as early as possible will want to choose to play it on Sony’s console. It opens up the following week on Xbox and PC on September 22 and will have full cross-platform play when it releases on those other platforms. Those who redeem this beta code for an Xbox or PC code will have to wait until the beta launches on those systems.
Those who also play the beta will get exclusive rewards for the shooter, including various cosmetics and weapon blueprints, when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II launches on October 28.
