Firaxis Games still had a Midnight Suns update for the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase despite the tactical title’s recent delay. While the new gameplay trailer had some added footage, the studio confirmed its new release date. Midnight Suns will be coming out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on December 2, 2022.

As was previously noted, the last-gen versions and Switch port will come out at some other time in the future, which wasn’t specified. This puts the game out on the same day as The Callisto Protocol, making it one of the last big releases of the year.

The event also had a trailer for its upcoming animated prequel shorts. These will show players some characters from the game in a Saturday morning cartoon-esque way. They’ll start airing online on October 31.
