Marvel’s Avengers Reveals Mighty Thor Screen, Adds MCU Skin to Flashback Shipments

It’s almost time to bring a second hammer down onto AIM goons in Marvel’s Avengers. The developers at Crystal Dynamics have scheduled a War Table Deep Dive that will give superhero fans all the details about The Mighty Thor as she exists inside the superhero action blockbuster. The video update will also go into detail on the full 2.5 update, which will, among other things, fix some bugs that have plagued players with traversal. The update will likely hit right before Mighty Thor comes out on June 28.

Of course, her debut in the game lines up almost perfectly with her Marvel Cinematic Universe premiere in Thor: Love and Thunder, and it’s clear that Square Enix wants to keep its Avengers as close as possible to the heroes movie fans flock to every few months. To that end, the developers have lowered the price of one of Iron Man’s distinct golden looks from Iron Man 3 in this week’s Flashback Shipment outfit. Players can grab the suit for a mere 50 units if they log in before June 30.

Speaking of flashbacks, this week also marks the return of Hulk’s Bunnies and Bandoliers outfit from “Incredible Hulk #390.” First seen in 1992, the distinctive garb comes complete with bunny slipper physics, which is not something many games can boast. The marketplace also continues its weekly giveaway of Ms. Marvel nameplates, with the third promotional cosmetic for the Disney+ up for grabs until the next marketplace refresh.
