Reporter Jeff Grubb was speaking about the upcoming sequel during a recent episode of GrubbSnax, where he revealed that he was aware of what the game was called. After some more teasing, a fan in the live chat eventually guessed the word “Survivor,” causing Grubb to reveal that the game was indeed called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor… You got it,” Grubb said. “You nailed it. Well done. That’s the name.”

Grubb also noted that the game is going to release strictly on newer, current-gen consoles, including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The reason for that choice by Electronic Arts is because the game is “for sure” not going to be coming out until 2023.

When exactly fans will see more of the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel is unknown, but many fans believe that it will appear at the upcoming Star Wars Celebration, which is set to take place between May 26-29, 2022.

An official sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was announced earlier this year, alongside a handful of other Star Wars-based projects in development at EA, including a new first-person shooter being worked on by Medal of Honor co-creator Peter Hirschmann, who had previously worked on the Star Wars Battlefront games, as well as The Force Unleashed series.
