Marvel's Avengers' Thor Is Possibly Completing His MCU Set of Skins

Marvel’s Avengers’ Newest Thor Skin Almost Completes His MCU Set

Crystal Dynamics is still cranking out Marvel Cinematic Universe skins for its live-service game, Marvel’s Avengers. Thor has been the recipient of many of these skins and is about to get one more. The God of Thunder is going to get his getup from his debut self-titled 2011 film, Thor.

Thor’s outfit, complete with the winged helmet, will arrive in the game on April 14 when the marketplace update. And as is the case with all MCU costumes, it should be 1,400 credits (around $14).

Thor is only missing a small handful of his MCU skins at this point. He has his armor from Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers, and Avengers: Endgame. He likely doesn’t have many other skins from the films to delve into, as his outfit from Avengers: Infinity War is about the same as it was in Avengers: Endgame. However, it’s only a matter of time until Crystal Dynamics adds in his Thor: Love and Thunder look.

However, the skin is not being met with much enthusiasm. As noted by the replies to the above tweet, many are frustrated at Crystal Dynamics charging so much for the skin in lieu of not having a concrete roadmap. The game also hasn’t been getting much content either, as evidenced by its last patch that was only full of minor bug fixesShe-Hulk is rumored to the next hero, but seeing as though Crystal Dynamics is working on the next recently announced Tomb Raider and the Perfect Dark reboot, it seems as though Avengers is taking a backseat to other projects.
