Following the finale of the Arc Revo America fighting game tournament, Arc System Works announced the release date of its next title, DNF Duel. This upcoming anime fighter being co-developed by Neople, Arc System Works, and Eighting, will release on June 28, 2022. A brief trailer was also shown off following the tournament, and showcases the new character, Ghost Blade.

A spin-off of the 2005 game Dungeon Fighter Online, DNF Duel‘s trailer not only showed off the aforementioned Ghost Blade. However, it also teased another character, The Mechanic, toward the end.

DNF Duel was initially announced last year, with a brief beta running for the fighting game in December. It is at least coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, as the beta was on those platforms.
Aside from its official announcement, Arc System Works also revealed that DNF Duel will be heavily featured in multiple competitive events throughout 2022. This includes the Arc World Tour 2022, a worldwide fighting game tournament that has a $200,000 prize pool that will be split between both DNF Duel and Guilty Gear Strive, Arc System Works’ latest game.
