Among Us took the world by storm when the game became popular in 2020 after originally releasing in 2018. Now, players on a variety of the most popular consoles can dive into the fun. Developer Innersloth announced on Thursday that Among Us will land on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on December 14, 2021 for $4.99.

The release date comes nearly a year after the game launched on its last console, the Nintendo Switch, and will make the highly popular game available on nearly every popular platform. The game also has crossplay, meaning everyone should be able to play with each other.
Innersloth also announced that the Among Us console versions will feature some exclusive goodies for PlayStation users, with a special Ratchet & Clank-themed character available for those playing on Sony consoles. While Xbox players won’t get any special characters, the game will also be available via Xbox Game Pass, so players can check it out for no extra cost if they subscribe to the service.

Alongside the new release schedule for the game, Among Us will also receive a physical edition — dubbed as “Crewmate” editions — of the game. This physical version is set to launch in December 14 in Europe, December 16 in Japan and South Korea, and January 11, 2022 in North America. Two more editions, “Imposter” and “Ejected” editions, are also planned for launch during spring 2022.
The Imposter Edition will be $49.99 and includes:
