Marvel’s Avengers Celebrates First Anniversary With Free Items

Marvel’s Avengers Is Coming to Xbox Game Pass

Fans who haven’t gotten to check out Marvel’s Avengers yet are in for a treat, as Microsoft has announced that the game would be heading to Xbox Game Pass at the end of the month. Starting on September 30, 2021, Marvel’s Avengers will hit Xbox Game Pass for PC, Console, and Cloud, so any subscribers to the streaming service should be good to go.

The entire Avengers experience will be available too, including all post-launch heroes (Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, and Black Panther) and missions, including the recently released War for Wakanda expansion. While the version on Game Pass does include all the DLC since it was released for free, it will not have any of the eight cosmetics from the Endgame Edition. These must be purchased separately for $20.

And even though this version will be easy to access for Xbox and PC users, they will not get to play the Spider-Man DLC when it comes out later this year. This is because of a deal Sony signed with Marvel, which might be something we’ll be seeing more of in the future.

Marvel’s Avengers recently celebrated its first anniversary and the release of the War for Wakanda expansion and will be running a quad XP event from September 30 to October 4 to commemorate the occasion. Alongside the introduction of Black Panther, the War for Wakanda expansion also added a handful of new villains, a brand-new environment to explore, more enemies to face off against, the Birmin Zana Outpost, additional solo, or multiplayer Drop Zone and Threat Sector missions, and much more.
