Sony and Microsoft have both announced the slate of January 2021 free games that will be available to subscribing PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.
PlayStation Plus members will receive two PlayStation 4 titles, including the action-adventure game Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the action RPG Greedfall, on Tuesday, January 5. On the same day, PlayStation 5 owners with a PlayStation Plus membership can play a terrifying apex predator in the open sea RPG Maneater.

On Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, confront your childhood fears in Little Nightmares, available January 1 to January 31, and survive against a horde of zombies to get the scoop of a lifetime in Dead Rising, available January 16 to February 15. For the classic lineup via Backward Compatibility, players can take on the best fighters in the world in The King of Fighters XIII, available January 1 to January 15, and utilize newfound powers and hand-to-hand combat in the suspenseful action title Breakdown, available January 16 to January 31.
Xbox Live Gold members will have exclusive access to these games for a limited time as part of Games with Gold.
