Sony and Microsoft have both announced the slate of May 2019 free games that will be available to subscribing PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members.
Two new titles join the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup on May 7. What Remains of Edith Finch is an award-winning original and surreal experience that allows players to explore the cursed FInch family tree. Through unique interactive storytelling, the somber, thought-provoking game offers a truly special experience. Overcooked! is a fun and hilarious experience for up to four players, made specifically for local co-op play. In the party game, you and your friends will join forces to become a team of chefs and work against the clock to turn out dishes for hungry customers.

PS Plus members still have a few days left to download the survival RPG Conan Exiles as well as the action-RPG The Surge, both available until May 6. You can subscribe to PlayStation Plus via this link.
Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games — two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 — as part of the Games with Gold Program. On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Marooners for free during the month of May. The Gold Club 2019 featuring PGA TOUR will be available as a free download from May 16 to June 15th.
On Xbox 360, starting May 1st, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through May 15. Then on May 16, Xbox Live Gold members can download Comic Jumper for free through May 31st. You can subscribe to Xbox Live Gold via this link.
