Nintendo to launch Yoshi’s Crafted World & Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn in March

Nintendo is launching a pair of games featuring two of their most beloved characters this coming March, per a report from Business Wire.

First up, Yoshi’s Crafted World will hit the Nintendo Switch on March 28. The game has you play as Mario’s favorite green dinosaur, who’s tasked with exploring a big world that’s made from household items like boxes and paper cups, with stages loaded up with puzzles and hidden treasures. In a unique twist, you can play the stages backward, which not only gives the player a new perspective to explore, but unlocks a secret challenge to find Poochy-Pups that are hiding throughout the course. This being a Nintendo Switch title, you can play the game as a two-player co-op. You can find out more info about Yoshi’s Crafted World here.

Next up, Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn is coming to the Nintendo 3DS on March 8. The game is an enhanced version of the Nintendo Wii classic Kirby’s Epic Yarn, where our marshmallow-like hero is transported into a world made of cloth and yarn. Every stage in the original Wii version is woven in here, but the new version has some additional features, including some new mini-games that feature familiar faces King Dedede and Meta Knight. There’s also new furniture to personalize Kirby’s Pad, and a new Devilish mode if you breeze through the game too easily the first time. You can find out more about Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn here.

Incidentally, Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn features new amiibo functionality, which is compatible with the Kirby series of amiibo figures, which give Kirby hats and abilities based on the figure used.
