Sarandon, Travolta & Bullock Make Oscar Show Appearance

Susan Sarandon, John Travolta and Sandra Bullock will present at the 76th Academy Awards ceremony, telecast producer Joe Roth announced today.

Sarandon received the Best Actress Oscar in 1995 for her role in Dead Man Walking. She also received nominations for her leading roles in Atlantic City in 1981, Thelma & Louise in 1991, Lorenzo’s Oil in 1992 and The Client in 1994. Sarandon will be seen next in Shall We Dance, Alfie and Noel.

Travolta has twice been nominated in the Leading Actor category, for Saturday Night Fever in 1977 and Pulp Fiction in 1994. He currently is filming Be Cool the sequel to Get Shorty and will be seen next in The Punisher followed by Ladder 49 and A Love Song for Bobby Long.

Bullock is currently in pre-production on Miss Congeniality 2 and just finished filming Crash.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2003 will be presented on February 29, 2004, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. (PST) with a half-hour arrivals segment.
