Bottleneck Gallery Debuts New Exhibit Celebrating Steven Spielberg Works

Bottleneck Gallery and Vice Press have teamed up for an exciting new exhibition entitled Amblinesque with original art from Matt Ferguson and Matthew “Florey” Rowan celebrating the films and projects from Amblin Entertainment and celebrated writer/director Steven Spielberg, some of which can be viewed in the gallery below!

The two artists have selected their favorite movies from the library of Amblin Entertainment and Spielberg to produce both film posters and limited edition art prints to be put on display at the Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn, New York from June 14 to July 10, with an official launch event opening the exhibit on Friday, June 14 from 7-9 p.m., where both Ferguson and Rowan will be in attendance.

Some of the films selected for adapted works in the exhibit will include Jurassic ParkE.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and the Back to the Future trilogy, with more films set to be revealed at the exhibition launch.

Ferguson, co-founder and creative director of Vice Press, is a renowned graphic designer and artist from the United Kingdom, best known for working with Marvel Studios designing artwork for Marvel’s Avengers Blu-Ray collection, as well as many promotional posters. He regularly exhibits his works at galleries in the US including Bottleneck and is also well-known in the industry for his stylized creations for established film and TV properties.

Rowan is an artist and designer from Melbourne, Australia, who has collaborated with a number of high-profile brands including Disney, Universal Pictures, Marvel, DC Comics, Aardman and Namco-Bandai, releasing his works through galleries around the world including regularly working with Bottleneck gallery.

Pieces from the show will be available to purchase online at both the gallery and Vice Press‘ official websites at a later date.
