Jennifer Carpenter and Don Johnson co-star in this gripping grindhouse pic from writer/director S. Craig Zahler (Bone Tomahawk).
Flatliners Out on Blu-ray this week is this pseudo-remake/sequel to Joel Schumacher’s 1990 cult classic. Kiefer Sutherland returns playing sort-of the same role as the original.

New on Digital HD
Blade Runner 2049 Ryan Gosling tries to fill the shoes of Harrison Ford in director Denis Villeneuve’s gorgeous, emotional but ultimately unnecessary sequel to Ridley Scott’s 1982 sci-fi classic. While the original’s plot was streamlined and simple, this one is pointlessly convoluted and leaves room for a second sequel that will probably never happen. Harrison Ford is game as the returning Rick Deckard, although it’s Ana de Armas’s new form of Replicant that steals the show.
The Foreigner Jackie Chan plays a former special forces guy who seeks revenge after his daughter is killed in a bombing perpetrated by former IRA terrorists. Pierce Brosnan co-stars as a former IRA member turned politician that Chan’s character suspects.
