Released in 2022, Netflix’s Neymar: The Perfect Chaos showcases the life and career of 31-year-old Brazilian soccer player Neymar. Neymar has played for prestigious clubs like Santos, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain. Currently, he plays for the Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal. Throughout his career, he has won several prestigious trophies like UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, Ligue 1 title, etc.

According to Netflix’s official YouTube channel, the synopsis of Neymar: The Perfect Chaos reads, “One of the most famous and highest-paid athletes in history – like you’ve never seen before. NEYMAR is a hero on the field and a controversial figure off. This three-part docuseries, directed by David Charles Rodrigues, gets up close and personal with soccer star Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, tracks his rise to fame at Santos, his glory days at FC Barcelona and the rollercoaster ride with the Brazilian National team and with Paris Saint-Germain.”

Sunderland ’Til I Die

Sunderland ’Til I Die is a heartwarming sports documentary series that showcases the workings of the English soccer club Sunderland A.F.C. It premiered on December 14, 2018, and has two seasons and fourteen episodes in total. Sunderland A.F.C. was founded in 1879, and its home ground is the Stadium of Light.

According to IMDb, the synopsis of Sunderland ’Til I Die reads, “Highlights the unfailing passion Sunderland residents have for their beloved football club, taking viewers through the highs and lows of SAFC’s 2017-18 season in the Championship following its relegation the previous year.”

Sunderland ‘Til I Die was produced by Fulwell 73. Its executive producers were Leo Pearlman and Ben Turner.

Pelé

The 2021 Netflix documentary film, Pelé, narrates the story of the superstar Brazil soccer player, Pelé. Often regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, the nation of Brazil considers him a national treasure. Furthermore, he has won the FIFA World Cup thrice. He passed away at the age of 82 in December 2022.

According to IMDb, the synopsis of Pelé reads, “Looks back at the extraordinary 12-year period in which Pelé, the only man to win three World Cup titles, went from young superstar in 1958 to national hero in 1970; a radical yet turbulent era in Brazil’s history.”
