Sylvester Stallone’s Son: How Did Sage Stallone Die?

Sylvester Stallone’s Son, Sage Stallone, tragically passed away at the age of 36 in 2012. His body was found by his housekeeper in his home in Studio City, Los Angeles on July 13, 2012. According to a CNN report, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County coroner had confirmed Sage died of atherosclerosis, which caused the heart attack.

Apart from the over-the-counter pain medication, the autopsy did not detect traces of any other drug in his system. Furthermore, at the time of his passing, Sage was engaged. His funeral took place on July 21 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, which is situated in Los Angeles. His resting place is at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sage’s father, Sylvester Stallone, will speak candidly of his son in the upcoming Netflix documentary titled Sly.

Sage Stallone’s life and career in brief

Sage Stallone was born on May 5, 1976, in Los Angeles, California. His father was Sylvester Stallone and his mother was Sasha Czack. Furthermore, he was the legendary actor’s eldest son.

Sage completed his graduation from Montclair College Preparatory School in Van Nuys, California, in 1993. He then went on to study filmmaking at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. When he was just a young boy, he made appearances in films from time to time.

He made a guest appearance in Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling as a child, however, his official acting debut took place in 1990 alongside his father in Rocky V. He played the role of Robert Balboa Jr. In 1996, he yet again starred with Sylvester Stallone in the film Daylight. In the same year, he and film editor Bob Murawski founded Grindhouse Releasing, a cult film distribution company that focused on restoring and preserving exploitation films like Cannibal Holocaust and Gone with the Pope.

Some of his other projects were The Manson Family, Chaos, Moscow Zero, Promises Written in Water, etc.
