The upcoming anime series Taisho Otome Fairy Tale will stream on the Funimation streaming service later this year.
Announced during the Pony Canyon panel at Anime Expo Lite 2021, it was confirmed the series will join the ever-growing list of anime’s available on the Funimation streaming service. Additionally, footage of the series was shown which you can check out for yourself below. Taisho Otome Fairy Tale is set for an October 2021 debut.

“Taisho Otome Fairy Tale follows the youngest son of the prestigious Shima family, who have had nothing but success for generations. But when his mother dies in a tragic accident and he’s left injured and cast out from his family, he reaches an all-time low.
“That is, until he meets Yuzuki Tachibana, a girl who claims to be his bride, sent by his estranged father. As they spend time together, they both learn how love can heal the heart.”
Hailing from studio SynergySP, Taisho Otome Fairy Tale will be directed by Jun Hatori. Hiroko Fukuda will be writing the script while Mayu Watanabe serves as character designer. Composing the music is Yasuharu Takanashi, who is known for their work on Fairy Tail, and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Yusuke Kobayashi and Saya Aizawa will star in Taisho Otome Fairy Tale as Tamahiko Shima and Yuzuki Tachibana respectively. Yume Miyamoto, Chika Anzai, Ayasa Ito, and Shunichi Toki will also voice characters in the upcoming anime.
Taisho Otome Fairy Tale began as a manga written and illustrated by Sana Kirioka. It was serialized in Jump Square from July 2015 to September 2017.
