Tower of God chapter 630 recap
The chapter continues with Traumerie’s disconnect successfully severing Gustang’s head. It then shows a flashback of the former telling Gustang he only needs him and his other friends. The chapter then returns to the present with Gustang’s head severed off. However, Gustang was able to invoke a scripture. Through blood sacrifice, the scripture became a covenant that invokes the scales of judgment to examine the past. If the scales find Traumerie guilty and he refuses to ask for forgiveness, Gustang would be resurrected as an executioner and permitted to use redemption.
Suddenly, the scales appear because of Gustsang’s sacrifice, allowing them to gain access to Traumerie’s past. The chapter then goes back in time to when Traumerie and the rest of the family heads climbed the tower. Traumerie and Gustang struggle with the robots and get knocked down to the lower level. They find what they believe to be the power source, and Gustang hopes to solve it despite Traumerie’s hesitation.
