An Archdemon’s Dilemma episode 4 recap
The episode begins where the previous episode left off, with Nephy crying on Zagan’s shoulders. When getting ready for bed, Nephy approaches him and offers her a lap as a pillow since there is only one bed. Zagan accepts and then proposes teaching her magic to protect herself and control her mysticism. Glad at the thought of being able to help him, she accepts.
Barbatos visits Zagan the following day and is shocked to see that Nephy is still alive. However, Zagan informs him of his decision to make her his apprentice, which doesn’t please Barbatos. After inquiring about the church attack, he asks Zagan if he is interested in the archdemon’s seat, who agrees.
Elsewhere, Zagan is offered the seat of the 13th archdemon, and he hesitates, surprised by his sudden selection. However, he only sees this as a way to protect Nephy, but after being threatened by the Archdemons, he makes a painful decision. The episode ends with Zagan releasing Nephy and asking her to leave the castle to protect her.
