Vampire Dormitory episode 1 spoilers: The next leader of the vampires

The beginning of the episode showed the vampire community settling on their next leader. The conclave claims the vampires’ next leader must be someone with strong abilities who has found their destined partner and drank their blood.

After their weird interaction, Mito leaves Ruka, who is stunned to find out that blood could be so disgusting. Ruka is confronted by the former leader of the vampires, who tells him that a man’s blood can only be as sweet as the amount he is loved.
